What a Mighty God we Serve
Think-About
Lions, tigers and bears, on my! A common saying, but also reality that God has created them all – the mountains, the sea, and even the universe. He created our galaxy, and the stars are named. Wow!! How big, yet intimate is our God. As creator of the entire universe, and Designer of His Creation, how amazing, and WILD! As we explore Wild Wednesday, let’s reflect on how BIG, and mighty of a God we serve. As the song says, “angels bow before Him, heaven and earth adore Him, what a Mighty God we serve!” How incredible!
Continue to think that Jesus was with God in the beginning of Creation – according to John 1:1-3, says this:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
IN the beginning, yet still ever present today. What a gift! How WILD! Will you choose with me today to revel in awe of God who is now so accessible to us through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, but yet, reigns as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That’s pretty wild to think, ponder and appreciate.
Talk-About
What do you enjoy about God’s creation?
Have you asked God to “create in you a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within you?” Psalm 51: 10 – 12 says it this way. If not yet, why not ask Him today, to create a new beginning in your own life…he’s ready and willing to sustain us. If you have, maybe there’s some restoration that you can ask God for to change some part of you to be more like your Maker.
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
