Meet Our Camp Directors

Executive Director–Diana Gressinger

Hi Friends! As many of you know Debbie (Willow) has stepped down as director of Camp Cherith WNY. We are so thankful for the Betts family, and their time at Camp. I am humbled and blessed to be following in the footsteps of Debbie as the new director of Camp Cherith. Many of you may know me from my time on the Board of Trustees, camp fundraisers or workdays. I have been around camp for the better part of ten years. I come to camp with many years of ministry experience. Since I was a teenager, I have been involved as a camp counselor, VBS teacher and administrator, Sunday school teacher, Wednesday night kids club teacher and administrator and ladies conference speaker. Professionally, I had been an office administrator and safety director for a construction company for 18 years. I am excited to start this new adventure with Camp Cherith of WNY! I believe God has been working in my life and heart to prepare me for this Job. Like Queen Esther in the Bible, God has been working to prepare me “…for such a time as this.” Esther 4:14. SUMMER Director–Heather “Tookie” Stetser

Hello, My name is Tookie! I am very excited about being the Summer Director. This will be my second year in this role. The last few years I’ve been the Media Specialist at Camp Cherith of Western New York. I have worked at summer camps for 18+ years. I am looking forward to meeting all of the parents, staff, and ESPECIALLY the campers. My two favorite parts of camp are making new relationships with people and getting to be silly!

I have a Bachelors Degree in Childhood and Special Education from Roberts Wesleyan College. Outside of camp, I teach 1st - 3rd graders in a Small Christian Private School in Corning, NY.
