SUMMER Director–Amanda Tobias

I'm Pteri Ibis, and I'm always excited about camp! I have Bachelors Degree in Childhood and Special Education from Roberts Wesleyan College and a Masters Degree in Literacy from SUNY Albany. Outside of camp, I teach 5th grade in Albany, NY

I've been working at Camp Cherith WNY since the summer of 2009. I've had the wonderful privilege to see many of the campers I've had over the years join me on staff at camp. I've worked with all ages and held many roles at CCWNY such as a cabin counselor, division director, craft specialist, tuck shop manager, fishing instructor, day camp director, and assistant camp director. My favorite thing about camp is the relationships you form. Not many other places can you come back after a year and pick up where you left off.
